Robert Furs – Accordionist, pianist, conductor.

He completed the accordion class at Artur Rubinstein State Music School in Bydgoszcz. Felix Nowowiejski Music Academy in Bydgoszcz at the Faculty of Conducting and Music Education and the Stanisław-Moniuszko Music Academy in Gdansk at the Faculty of Instrumental Accordion under the direction of Prof. Elżbieta Rosińska.

He took part in the following master classes:

Robert Furs is committed to the accordion as a solo instrument. He is the founder and leader of Duo Furs Music, Deja Vu, Acoustic Klezmers and FURS Trio. He cooperates with the Elblag Cultural Association and other cultural organisations in the region.

He is a four-time winner of the Cultural Scholarship of the City of Elblag and of the “Promotions” scholarship of the Elblag Cultural Association.

The artist is an animator of cultural life in Elblag and through his pedagogical work a promoter of music among children and young people. Since 2000 he has been the director of the music school FURS MUSIC in Elblag.

The artist presented his works at concerts in Poland and abroad. He has worked with the Pomeranian Philharmonic Orchestra “Ignacy Jan Paderewski” in Bydgoszcz. The accordionist is an interpreter of classical music as well as entertainment music from the stage movement.

Robert Furs is the author of the records “ELECTRIC RADIATOR”, “THE SOUND OF FRANCE”, “IN TANGO” and “FURS ACCO”, in which he incorporated his musical experience and presented his technical and interpretive skills. The last album was released in Europe under the title “CLASSICAL ACCORDION. ”
